A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional since 2003, Jim has worked in the financial services industry since 1998. Over his career, he has held various wealth management roles with several New York Stock Exchange member firms, including Prudential Securities, TD Waterhouse, JPMorgan Chase, and Fidelity Investments.
With more than two decades of experience, Jim has helped families and small businesses with a wide range of financial planning needs, including retirement planning, investment management, college funding, insurance, estate planning strategies, and tax-efficient investment approaches. In addition to his CFP® designation, Jim is a Certified College Financial Consultant. He has also held FINRA licenses Series 7, 63, 65, 9, and 10, and has been a licensed agent in multiple states—including New York and Florida—for life, health, and variable annuities.
Jim graduated from the University at Albany with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Minor in Business Administration.
An active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since 2002, Jim has served as both Government Relations Director and Career Development Director, mentoring CFP® candidates and teaching review classes to prepare them for the CFP® exam. He has also been invited to speak at numerous professional engagements on a variety of financial topics, including banking and lending, retirement planning, investment planning, and annuities.
Jim joined Landmark Wealth Management to partner closely with clients in developing customized financial plans that align with their short- and long-term goals. Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and their families is one of Jim’s top priorities, and he works hard to maintain a high level of trust, reliability, and professional competence.
Jim resides in Smithtown, New York, with his wife Suzanne and their two children, Zachary and Hannah.
